"We were absolutely delighted that we worked with DH Architectural when we were renovating and extending our house in 2009. We were nervous about working with any architect that could take over the design stage and push ideas on us - this definitely didn't happen with this company . We were guided and advised by David Higgins during the development of the house plans but he really took on board our requirements for our home during these discussions about the house layout. David created a fantastic plan to transform the 1960's style 3 bed bungalow into a bright, warm, modern, family home. His design primarily utilised the natural light available to the site and incorporated this specifically into a new large kitchen-living room. By cleverly changing the access from the road to the existing house he was able to make the most of an awkward shaped site and ensure that we could now drive around the back of the house. Simple changes like the location of doors into existing rooms created a much better flow through the house that we would never have thought of. All in all he was a pleasure to work with, we are delighted with the finished product and we would recommend him to anyone! "
